Our homestay in Ramdhura is a modest accommodation with great view of the Kanchenjunga Range. It is run by a local Nepali family who takes care of their guests and their comfort and food. All rooms have provision of accommodating 4 guests. All rooms have attached western toilets with running water. Food Served Are Made From Organic Vegetables And Poultry From Nearby Villages. We also arrange for pickup and drop facilities from and to all places of tourist interests on chargeable basis from our Ramdhura Homestay.

Q: What makes Ramdhura famous?

A: Ramdhura is famous for excellent view of Mt. Kanchenjunga on the horizon and the twists of River Teesta visible far below. Its truly give some of the superb views of the Eastern Himalayan range and Mount. Kanchenjunga. You can enjoy the charm of sunrise and sunset from this quaint destination as well as from our homestay in Ramdhura. You can trek in the slopes of the pine forests, accompanying will be the sweet melody of birds singing in these virgin woods. 

Q: What to expect at Ramdhura? 

A: It is situated at an elevation of 5000 ft and at a distance of around 25 kilometers from Kalimpong Town. The village is situated at a moderate height, and forests of pine and other hilly trees offer absolute tranquility. Ramdhura has a fabulous panoramic view. A mesmerizing sunrise with its changing colours over Mt. Kanchenjunga is the main attraction. But the Teesta river, flowing beneath a majestic green valley, the pine forests, the Cinchona Plantation and flocks of colourful birds and butterflies also attract tourists.

Q: What to see?

A: Hanuman Tok and Mahadev Dham Temple are notable places to visit here.  Cover with pine forest colourful flowers plenty of birds and butterflies. If you want you can visit the cinconha plantation at Jalsa Bunglow. Staying at our homestay in Ramdhura, tourists can visit the nearby Kalimpong, Pedong and Algarah like Durpin dara, Delo hill, Pedong Monastery, Icche Gaon. Sillery Gaon and its surroundings area like Ramitey Dara, Damsang Fort and Tinchuley view point are also popular tourist attractions. Ramdhura has a very moderate weather and can be visited throughout the year but to get a clear view of Mount Kanchenjunga, it is better to avoid the monsoon.

Q: How To Reach?

A: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri Railway station (NJP) which is 86 km away and the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport which is 89 km from Ramdhura.  Visitors can take a bus from NJP to Kalimpong and from Kalimpong they need to hire a cab to reach our homestay in Ramdhura. Otherwise one can book a cab up to Ramdhura from NJP station.

Q: How much  does Ramdhura homestay cost?

A: Like in all homestay the stay is inclusive of food. The charges are Rs 1250/- per head which includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. You can enjoy campfire and chicken Bar-B- Que at our homestay in Ramdhura but that is additionally chargeable.
