Day 01 : NJP/Siliguri/Bagdogra to Gangtok (135 km. / approx 4.30 hrs): Arrive at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station. Car will receive you and depart for Gangtok . The journey in itself as you travel through the Mahananda Wild life Sanctuary and then along the bank of river Teesta. It is nearly 125kms away and is at an altitude of 5500ft and takes about 5 hours to reach. Check in the hotel. Explore the quaint hill town overlooking the magnificent Himalayan range. Enjoy the local cuisine. Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing: After breakfast visit Bakthang Waterfall- Tashi Viewpoint- Ganesh Tok- Enchey Monastery- Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom- Do Drul Chorten Stupa- Institute of Tibetology- Flower Show- Banjhakri Falls. Spend overnight in Gangtok hotel.
Day 03 : Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir: In the morning after breakfast, start for Tsomgo(Changu Lake), Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass(Optional subject to availibility of permits and extra charges). Tsomgo or Changu Lake is at the height of 12,400 ft above sea level your first stop would be Tsomgo Lake, a paradise for travel savvy. After 3 hours of long drive, you will encounter the ‘holy source of water’ hallowed by native people. The picturesque view of the lake will mesmerize you. In winters the lake is frozen and surrounding is full of snow.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple- Further ahead lies a mysterious temple, it is of the eminent personality of Indian Army, Captain Harbhajan Singh who is known for his unusual story. He is believed to be with us even after his tragic death in the Indo-Pak war of 1965. At the altitude of 4000 m, every Indian worships this a pure soul in a shrine named after him as Baba Harbhajan Mandir.
Nathula Pass(Optional if permits are available) is the border of India and China. Though there is not much to see but yet it serves your imagination of being so close to Chinese occupied Tibet.

Day 04 : Gangtok to Darjeeling (120 Km./ 5 hrs): After breakfast and leave for Darjeeling which is at a distance of 130 Km . This four hour drive overlooking the magnificent Himalayan Ranges with Tea Gardens on both side of the road offers impressive view. After arrival, transfer to the Hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the bazaars of this scenic hill town where you can browse Tibetan artefacts and tea leaves. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Starting the day with an amazing experience, you will be starting early in the morning, at around 4 AM. Climb up to the top of the Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise casting golden lights on Kanchenjunga. Following this experience will be the visit to the famous Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Return and enjoy a delicious breakfast before proceeding onwards with more local sightseeing. You will be covering attractions like the Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Tensing Rock, and Japanese Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Darjeeling to Siliguri/Bagdogra (90 km / 3 hrs): Leave for Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station which takes nearly four hours for onward journey. If you leave early in the morning you can en-route visit the famous Pasupati Market at the Nepal Border and Mirik Lake which is Natural lake surrounded by lofty hills and Pine trees.
